1. The agreement

These terms govern your use of Vectra, an adaptive learning engine. By creating an account you agree to them. If you disagree, the honest move is to close the book — no hard feelings, nothing billed.

Vectra is a study tool. It teaches, tests, re-teaches, and tracks what you have genuinely demonstrated. It is not a substitute for accredited instruction, and a MASTERED verdict in Vectra is evidence about your work inside Vectra, not a certified qualification.

2. Your account

You need an account to study. You are responsible for your credentials and for the material you upload. One human per account — the teaching loop adapts to a specific learner's belief state, and sharing an account poisons that state for everyone using it.

You may delete your account at any time. Deletion removes your learning history, uploaded material, and belief state.

3. Your material

You keep ownership of everything you upload — lecture slides, notes, recordings. You grant Vectra the limited right to parse, analyze, and reuse that material to teach you. That right exists to run the product and ends when the material or your account is deleted.

You must have the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload material you have no license to use, and do not use Vectra to infringe anyone's rights.

4. Acceptable use

Study honestly. Do not attempt to break the mastery system, resell access, scrape the service, interfere with other learners, or use the product to generate unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that do — proportionate to the offense.

5. Payment

The core loop is free. Paid plans and Scales top-ups are billed through Polar, our Merchant of Record — Polar handles checkout, tax, and payouts, and Vectra never sees your card details.

The framing is on the pricing page and it is real: start free, and paid tiers can be canceled at any time. If a paid period hasn't helped you learn, contact support — no questions asked.

Prices are stated before you pay. Taxes are calculated and remitted by Polar per your jurisdiction.

6. The honest limits of the machine

Vectra is adaptive, not infallible. It can misdiagnose, misparse an upload, or teach something clumsily before correcting itself — that is what the re-teach loop is for. We work to keep the teaching grounded in your material, but you remain responsible for verifying anything you go on to use in the real world.

Features may change as the product matures. We will not remove something you paid for mid-billing-period without a remedy.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Vectra's liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including outcomes tied to exams, coursework, or employment decisions made on the strength of what Vectra taught you.

8. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we will tell you in the product before the change applies. Continuing to study after that is agreement; stopping is always allowed.
